About Honey and Grace

Welcome to Honey and Grace. My name is Seyi Farinu and I am very excited that you are here 😊

I am a Nigerian-Canadian Pastry Chef based in the beautiful city of Vancouver British Columbia, Canada.

I am very passionate about God and food. I truly love baking. In fact, I love to see the smile on people’s faces when they take their first bite out of a slice of cake or a warm pie. Such a delight!

Honey and Grace first began in March 2016. It was on my birthday and I was greatly encouraged from friends and family to share my passion with the world. Looking back, I am very grateful to God and to my family and friends for all their support.

My culinary career started in the savory world. I always thought I would remain in the savory world, but God had other plans for me. I got a chance to stage in a pastry kitchen in 2015 and that sparked my love affair with “all things sweet”.

Today, I combine my experiences in both savory and sweet food preparations to create some unique and adventurous treats. I love combining flavors from my two diverse cultures to create harmonized treats that are simply irresistible.
